Another milestone in a 45 year history of customer commitment across the British Isles - the official opening of a new Center of Excellence

New Integrated Demonstration ‘Center of Excellence’ in the UK

Bruker has marked another milestone in its 45 year history of customer commitment across the British Isles with the official opening of a new Center of Excellence – namely the grand opening in Coventry, of the UK’s new integrated demonstration laboratories, sales and applications offices and dedicated customer facilities.

Bruker has now totally redesigned and rebuilt its facilities to deliver new levels of customer experience and support. From the first steps through the modernized reception, to the welcoming and highly practical dedicated customer lounge, to the training facilities through to the suite of demonstration laboratories the customer is now central to that journey.

The improved facility has significantly expanded the demonstration and laboratory space, enabling the move and integration of the newly acquired Bruker Nano Business that had been based in Cambridge.

It now provides access to the latest multi-technology applications, training and a demonstration ‘Center of Excellence’ that features all the current portfolio of technologies: Magnetic Resonance, Mass Spectrometry, X-Ray diffraction and elemental analysis, Infrared and Raman spectroscopy, and surface analysis.

A number of invited VIP guests from the scientific communities and industrial sectors visited Coventry, UK on Wednesday 26th September to attend the Official Opening of the Center of Excellence.

After a brief update on the latest innovative solutions from across the broad spectrum of technologies the guests enjoyed an exclusive, relaxed tour in small groups of the impressive new demonstration labs.

This provided, for most, the unusual opportunity to come face-to-face with the latest advances and applications granted by technologies normally outside their own field. Many guests have already expressed interest in complementary solutions that, up until the tour, they had not previously considered.

Frank H. Laukien, Ph.D, President and CEO of Bruker Corporation, was present to help celebrate the opening and cut the ribbon to officially open the new facilities.

He commented, “I have personally been involved with this facility since its first opening in 1989 and am delighted to have seen its evolution into what it has become today, a state-of-the-art facility that reflects our belief in focusing on the customer and creating solutions based on complementary technologies.”
