Marking another milestone in our almost 40 years of history in China, Bruker has opened a second major applications, training and service center in Shanghai. Bringing together all of our East China operations the new facility provides access to a new multi-technology applications, training and demonstration Center of Excellence.

Our long-standing presence in, and support for, the Chinese research community began with the first NMR installations almost 40 years ago. Frank Laukien, Ph.D, the President and CEO of Bruker Corporation, commented: “Bruker has come a long way since our first attendance at a scientific conference in Beijing in 1974. My Bruker colleagues and I are very excited by the new opportunities for customer collaborations, training and support, and applications research in China offered by our second major Chinese facility here in Shanghai.”
The new Shanghai facility complements our existing major support center in Beijing, which itself is being expanded by about 50% – reflecting our continued rapid growth in China to over $100 million in annual revenue. We also intend to open an additional service and sales office in Guangzhou later this year.
