Bruker’s new Center of Excellence in central Moscow
Last week saw the inauguration of a new, high-tech Center of Excellence in Moscow as Bruker proudly reached another key milestone in its long history of support and commitment to Russia and its scientific communities.
Providing customers’ easier access to Bruker’s expansive range of scientific instrumentation for life-science and analytical applications, the new Center will both extend support to the Russian research community and maximize opportunities for research collaborations.
Beginning with initial NMR installations as far back as 1969, Bruker’s long-standing presence in Russia has achieved market and/or technology leadership in many fields, including magnetic resonance, atomic force microscopy, X-ray diffraction and crystallography, mass spectrometry, as well as infrared and Raman molecular spectroscopy.
At the grand opening of the Center, Frank Laukien, President and CEO of the Bruker Corporation, commented, “All of my Bruker colleagues and I are very excited by the new opportunities for customer collaborations, training, support and applications research in Russia offered by our outstanding new scientific and support facility here in Moscow. Together we have come a long way since our first projects in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance with the Academy of Sciences in 1970s.”
